Designations: Debbie Gibbs was licensed in April 1985 as a Salesperson and in 1987 she received her Associate Broker's license. Over the next 30+ years Debbie has helped thousands of clients realize their real estate goals in buying and selling real estate.
Professional Experience: Debbie is a great believer in education and has the coveted CRS designation (approximately 40,000 Realtors out of over a million Realtors receive this designation). Certified Residential Specialists are required to meet high production requirements and attend many hours of continuing education classes, along with being in leadership positions for The Realtor's Association. "I love to refer buyers and sellers to CRS designees around the country as i know they share my passion for real estate and helping buyers and sellers reach their goals". Debbie also holds the Graduate Realtor's Institute (GRI) and is a Certified Distressed Property Expert (CDPE). She has proven time and time again that she can get the job done and loves the challenge of an unusual transaction.
Education: Debbie is past president of the Wyoming Realtors, served as a National Association Director for the State of Wyoming at NAR (National Association of Realtors) for 5 years and is presently a Wyoming Real Estate Commission member. Governor Mead appointed her to the state position in 2016 and in that position she and the other commission members are charged being sure the public is protected from unethical real estate practices by an licensee. Debbie was also the Sweetwater County Realtor of the Year 3- times and the Wyoming State Realtor of the Year in 1998.
Outside Interests: Debbie has served on many local boards and committees such as the Rock Springs Planning and Zoning and the Rock Springs Historical Museum Board.
Personal Information: Debbie and her husband, Rick, have been married over 50 years and have 2 children. Rick Gibbs is a regional mortgage manager for US Bank and lives in Cheyenne, WY with his wife Stacy and boys, Brad and Kaden! Debbie's daughter, Erin Terrill, is also an Associate Broker with Brokerage Southwest and she and her husband Joey have one daughter, Kennedy, and 2 step-daughters, Sehera and Malanei and one step-son, Bridger.
Debbie and Erin work as a team by covering each other when one is out of the office, so working with either one gives you "two for the money"!! What a deal!!
